FOR THE PAST NINE YEARS, HICCUPS has undergone seven previews at various theaters in the new york area during its stages of development: first, at la luz in brooklyn (2015), second and third at shetler studios (2016, 2017), fourth at rockwood music hall (stage 3) with percussion and bass (2018), fifth at pangea, a cabaret dinner theater in the east village (2019), sixth at don’t tell mama nyc as part of self-produced cabaret, “slanted: a night of anxious originals” (2022), and a seventh time at triad theater, an off-broadway theater on the upper west side of manhattan (slanted cabaret, 2023)
